Bilal Munir Malik (Fall 2021)
“I am happy that I joined the first cohort of the program which combines the best educators from JGU and uses Coursera to deliver the program. It give me a good understanding of how things work in a complex world, the risk we should anticipate and mitigate, the historical perspectives of wars and the future of security. I enjoyed it and it elevated me from a normal news consumer to an analytical critique who goes a step deeper. MA IRSS is the new MBA.”
Raghav Dua (Spring 2022)
“Enrolling in the MAIRSS program was a transformative decision for me. The stellar faculty, efficient program team, and diverse multinational cohort created an unparalleled learning environment. The online format surpassed my expectations, offering flexibility and top-notch education. The comprehensive curriculum covered a wide range of topics, from theory to climate change and cybersecurity. The mentorship I received at the Centre for the Study of Global International Relations proved invaluable, forming the foundation of my future career plans. MAIRSS has truly been a catalyst for both my personal and professional growth.”
Ronnie Pack (Fall 2022)
“I Retired from the United States Navy and embarked on a transformative journey seeking an MA in International Relations in Security and Strategy (IRSS) at O.P. Jindal University. This inspiring program brings together students from around the globe, offering rich and diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and innovative insights. O.P. Jindal University is a gateway to understanding and influencing the world of international relations.”
Chris Mark Weston (Fall 2022)
“Jindal Global University’s online Masters in International Relations provides rich and comprehensive courses ranging from IR theory to terrorism/counterterrorism to climate change to the rise of India in the current age. The lecturers are either leading academic experts, for example, Professor Sreeram Chaulia has authored several books, a number of which grace my bookshelf or have been senior diplomats with considerable longstanding careers in India’s Diplomatic Service. They thus bring a considerable amount of experience, expertise, insight and wisdom to the subjects in hand. We should also not forget the tutors on the courses who provide invaluable advice and support to the students -addressing our queries promptly and courteously– some of whom I consider personal friends. The webinars – particularly tutorials – are a great way to interact with the academic staff and your fellow peers – some of whom I am in constant regular contact out of course hours. It has been fascinating to gain their perspectives and share opinions on the events of the world today, whether it be Afghanistan, Belize or even the Middle East & North Africa. This is a great way to – as one of my tutors said – to understand how and why the world works as it does.”
Raifa Hassan Khneifess (Fall 2022)

The university, the professors, the TAs and tutors, and my colleagues have enriched my knowledge and widened my perspectives. Throughout my academic journey, I was impressed by the dedication, expertise, and willingness of all the professors especially Dr. Deepshikha Shashi, and tutors, specifically Teaching Assistants Ananthram Sundarababu and Abhijith Nair, to go the extra mile to support me and my colleagues. The master’s degree curriculum was well-structured, making studying easier for students. I confidently recommend O. P Jindal as the ultimate destination for anyone seeking an unmatched educational experience.”

“With a background in technology and have had an outsider’s view of India – through the American Lens, I’ve been a long-time critic of US Foreign Policy and a hardcore fan of Indian FP and have always believed in the concept of Nature, Culture, Market, State collaboration, and the nexus of Politics with Economics. This course has opened my eyes towards the strength of India and how much more we can contribute to the world in the field of International Relations. I’ve always been keen to work on the special course content that the platform provides other than the regular course content. This gives an overall perspective and highlights our strengths even more. I’ve enjoyed the content and the presentation, topics for the SGA has only made the knowledge seeking process even more complete to a greater depth. India and the world need many more people in this area and I strongly recommend OPJ and Coursera as a platform to learn and grow. Look forward to more FUN with the team here. Am deeply grateful and very thankful to each one of them.”

“As a wildlife biologist, sustainability scientist and geospatial analyst, I have been involved in numerous conservation programmes around the world. However, the MA-IRSS programme at Jindal Global University (JGU) has been a valuable addition to my professional and personal development. In particularly, I was impressed by the unique curriculum with its wide range of options to support any career path I might take. I really wish I had been exposed to this information and perspectives much earlier. It would have helped me a lot in developing international conservation projects. Therefore, I would like to highlight the continuous and benevolent support given to all students by the professors, university staff and tutors. Throughout my studies I never got the impression that they were sitting in their offices 1000 kilometres away. The course is not easy, it is demanding, challenging and sometimes time consuming, but the opportunities and support are outstanding. Thank you JGU for this wonderful opportunity!”
